VALENTINE NAIL ART COORDINATE,A SIMPLE CHOCHOLATE RECIPE TOO(* ^^*)

February is the month of love, lalalalalala, everyone knows that, cause Valentine Day is just few days away ^0^ How are your preparation, guys ? Special chocolates for loved ones, dinner reservation maybe ? Well, before the big day, ladies, I really think you should PAMPER YOURSELF !!!
Imagine when you are about to give chocholate to your special person and your fingers are in a bad shape, A BIG NO NO, right ??!!! What I meant by pampering yourself doesn't have to be a super expensive manicure and bejeweled nails. You can start it with clean hands, add moisturizer and clean cut nails. If you have extra budget for your nail care, why not choosing a special theme for a nail art ^0^
I know I have promised that every month I will make a post about my nails and now this is me keeping it !!! This February, I am adding a HEART SHAPE ACCENT on my nails. I was going to choose pink shades, but I had the fashion show at my university and my outfit was a bit of red and orange, so I decided to use less feminine color ^0^   (read more here : FIRST YEAR FASHION SHOW PHOTO DIARY : I AM A PROUD 1C !!!! )

IT'S TIME TO ZOOOOMM IN FOR MORE DETAILS !!!!!

4 nails of my fingers have the basic white heart with a gold lining.
I usually have my nails shaped round, but to show the heart shape better the nail stylist suggested me to get sharper edges and I agreed !

Two of my fingers have the full glitter red heart. Can you see them ?

A touch of Swarovski can be seen too.
Somehow I feel my nails look like a snowy Christmas color, hahahahaha !

One day, I will find hal of my heart ^0^
Two hearts on my thumbs <3

For some of my readers who are currently living in Japan, there are so many places that you can go to have your nails done. Perhaps you all know that gel nail art can be very pricy, but I thinks it is worthed cause it can last for a month !!
I would like to remind you guys, some of Japanese nail salons separate the price for the nail care and gel nail treatment. For a classic nail care, it costs around 4000 Yen and the price for gel nail varies from 3000 Yen. So, make sure that if you want the gel nail only, get your nail cuticles removed first ! That way, you will have a much cleaner finish. I know decorating your nails are very exciting, but make sure to take care of them too !!! ^0^

To close this NAIL ART BLOG UPDATE, I present you a CHOCOLATE TRUFFLES RECIPE for your Valentine !!!!! ^0^ Anyone who hasn't decided what to make, this recipe is super simple and you can try it !!

First, INGREDIENTS :

100gr of chocholate (your choice, but mine is bitter)

3 table spoon of Fresh cream
 1 table spoon of Rum
a little piece of butter (optional)
and chocholate powder !!!

These ingredients are not that hard to find, go to your nearest supermarket !!
Upssss, sorry I forgot to take the picture of chocolate powder >w<

Second, HOW TO MAKE :

2. After they are melt and mix perfectly, turn off the stove.
3. Put your melted chocholate awaya from the sove and start adding butter (if you want) then Rum,
 mix well again.

5. Put it inside the fridge until it becomes hard.
6. Once it is harden, cut it into small pieces and add the Chocolate powder for garnish.

FIRST YEAR FASHION SHOW PHOTO DIARY : I AM A PROUD 1C !!!!

Winter is going to be over this February and it meanssssss SPRING HOLIDAY IS JUST AROUND  THE CORNER !!! I can finally take a deep breath after a super tight January >w<  >w< I had endless homeworks and stressful tests week which made an all nighter, plus, I haven't been out to Shibuya or Haraujuku for ALMOST A MONTH !!!! My weekends were filled with strolling around in the neaarest supermarket, buying popcorn or chips for my battle with text book at night.  Well, well, well, the life of a fashion student >w<
There were times when I was so fed up with doing school projects, but the thing that made me lively again was my surrounding, MY CLASSMATES !!
I LOVE C CLASS !!!! All of the girls and guys in my class are super nice, even my teachers ^0^

FYI, my university used to be an all girls university, but starting from 2012 it becomes a mix school. The guys from my class were not in this picture because they were having extra class. Anyway, this picture was taken in my last day before spring holiday and we had a FASHION SHOW!!! All of the students from first year to third year must present the clothes they made and be a MODEL TOO !!! WHAT A VERY RARE CHANCE, RIGHT ??!! Personally I really love the styling part for the fashion show because thats my big ineterest in fashion. Finding the perfect neklace, shoes or hairstyle and make up is so fun !!!

First, let me tell you about the dress that I made.

IT'S A SEMI TIGHT DRESS WITH LONG SLEEVES IN RED BRICK COLOR ^0^

I'M A PROUD INDONESIAN and I LOVE THE ETHNICITY IN INDONESIAN CULTURE.

IT'S IN ME, IT'S MY IDENTITY !!!

The first image that came into my mind when I made this dress was a sophisticates girl with BIG CHUNKY HAIR !!! I want to show a tough yet elegant and sexy side of me, without being too much .

ZOOOOMM AND CLOSE UP

My make up was actually very simple because I have super tiny knowledge about make up >w<
Still learning guys, hehehehe ^0^ However, I know that my aset is in my eyes, so I try to make them pop out nicely ^0^ What do you think guys ? ^0^
For my hair, I actually have a natural straight black hair, but I wanna add this ethnic touch so I used a wave hair iron to make it more textured. OH MY GOD, I look like a black haired country singer in an ethnic dress, hahahaha !!!
THE STYLE POINT OF THIS LOOK also laid on the ANTIQUE INDONESIAN ACCESSORIES which I wore. I grew up in a family where both my mom and dad are so passionate with the beauty of Indonesian culture. Seeing my parent's collection of traditional fabric and jewelleries really made me want to show the world that Indonesia really is an amazing country. I want to introduce my county through school projects and my fashion looks. That has been a promise to myself since I landed my feet in Japan !

I am loving my shoes too !!!! HAHAHAHAHA !! (thanks pampy- my father for choosing the fabulous heels for me ^0^ )

Now, let's check out the Fashion Show, guys !!

The show was started with the collections from my senpai (senior) from the 3rd year. They were so elegant and おしゃれ!!!! (osyare- means : stylish ) Their project was to make
AN EVENING DRESS. I will be making it too 2 years from now !!!!!

And the COAT COLLECTION from 2nd year senpai ^0^
Can you see the cute pockets ornaents on one of the coats ??!!!

NOW, DRUM ROLL PLEASE !!!!! IT'S C CLASS TIME !!!!

OH MY ! HERE GOES MY TURN !!!!

MY HAIR LOOKS SUPER HUGE FROM THE BACK !!!  KYAAAA >W<

Yeap, We TOOK A BOW FOR THE FINALE !!!

I had a blast with the fashion show and I am so proud of C Class for a well concept of the show and everybody's spirit that made the show so cheerful !!! On the 2nd year, there is a big possibility that C class will be separated based on the class that we have chosen, so having a great fashion show is the cherry on top of my February ^0^

Before going back home, I took some shots of my classmates with their dresses !!!

C クラス大好き!!!! (*´ω`*)(´ε` )(*´∀`*)

( C KURASU DAISUKI - I LOVE C CLASS SO MUCHHHH (*´ω`*))

These 2 girls are my best friends in C CLASS !! Mami and Eriko <3

FEBRUARY FASHION INSPIRATION : YOSHIYUKI KONISHI (a.k.a ドン小西 [DON KONISHI]), HOW TO MAKE IT BIG IN FASHION INDUSTRY

I must say time flies really fast and it is already the second month of 2013 !! WOWWW !!!!!
I really need to catch up with you guys because I actually have so many postponed articles and have no time to type !!!! Anyway, I will try my best to keep this blog much livelier than last year !! ^0^
頑張ります!!- (meaning : Ganbarimasu !! - I will try my best !!)

As a starter for February blog updates, I really want to share useful advice that I got from attending a special guest lecture in my school,Bunka Gakuen University. It was held at the end of January 2013 and the speaker for the day was one of Japan Top Designers whose works had been recognized internationally. FYI, Bunka has been inviting many designers either regional and international to come and give guidance to Bunka Students. Christian Dior, Pierre Cardin, you name it ! That's why I do feel lucky to have the chance to study here !!! ^0^  ^0^

Okay, now, let me introduce you to YOSHIYUKI KONISHI, or usually well-known as
DON KONISHI. Don't freak out with the "Don" part of his name because he is not a mafia boss, hahahaha ! I googled already and the word "Don" actually has 2 meanings and the other one means "Top Man". I couldn't agree more to this nickname because He has been in the fashion industry for almost 41 years and still very productive until today. In 1997 he showed for the first time in New York. Raised in an old feudal castle town ,called Tsu with his parents owning a kimono shop, he is considered as a rebel fashion designer.

I was honestly super tired when I had to attend the lecture, but my eyes suddenly popped out and all of my tiredness went away once I saw Don Konishi walked towatds the lecture stage. In my mind he is an old designer who would make me sleepy while he was talking. However, He is SUPER STYLISH !! From the picture that I secretly took from the lecture ( SUPER BAD PANDA >w<) you can also witness how a man in his 60s still can look gorgeous !!!!  I immediately sit super straight, opened my note book, put my green pen on my palm, READY TO LISTEN !!!
Being BIG in fashion industy takes a long and tough journey and here are the pointers that I could absorb from this super talented man !!!!!!!

#1 MASTER YOURSELF
This statement means that we have to really KNOW OURSELF ^0^ Dig deep what are your real ineterest and what you thik is not suitable to you. I personally agree, because if we force some new trends and it didn't match our personality, It can be a super huge mess !! And you will never be confident in your own skin ! These days, this is a big issue because people got too carried away by what happens and loose their IDENTITY.  Don't let fear cover your true self in the way you live your life. If you like something, don't resist !! As long as it is a good thing, right ^0^
FYI, Don Konishi told us that when he is reading a fashion magazine, he doesn't read the "LATEST TREND" articles. It doesn't mean that he doesn't care about the hot stuff of the season, but He will just read it and won't get stuck or try to copy what is in the magazine. He knows his style, he knows what he wants so he will stick to what he believes! I wish I can have my own signature style one day !!

#2 OBSERVE
Okay, nowadays, people tend to think this "observe" word is the same as "copying". It really has different meaning, guys !! When we see somebody else who looks well put and sophisticated, we will surely pay attetion to that person, right ? But it has to stop after we take some good notes about their style, for example. If we copy what that person is wearing from head to toe, I consider it as not a good thing. Observe means we seek for things that are good and can be applied to our style too. That's important  !!
Don Konishi believes that there are so many resources that can give us inspiration. Anything in this world can ! Even when we are staring a blank white wall, ideas can suddenly pop out from my mind !!

Before the end of the lecture, I got an opportunity to ask Don Konishi himself one question. I believe that artists like fashion designers or painters often work according to their mood. I want to know how we can keep our mood stable and be productive in any condition. His answer was super short.

[感動]
(how to read : Kandou)
If you look into a dictionary, kandou means "being deeply moved emotionally".

I translated his answer as we should do everything with heart.
That way, we won't loose our motivation doing what we love because we are passionate about it.

After attending the lecture,I feel like I just received fresh air. I often got lost in translation because fashion is something that will always grow. Yes I made some wrong turns and end up with a super bad outfit, but I want to believe in myself more because I know I have something special in me. I used to wonder when can I show the world who am I as a girl who is so passionate about fashion Now, I think . I just have to do it ! Fashion is something that I love and I won't let my spirit down. For any of my readers who feel the same way, Lets's show the world who we are because we are made in a very unique way. We have our own style in fashion. Let's Do it OUR WAY ^0^
